From May 3, 2024, Mercury Racing’s new 250 APX engine will be making its debut at the Port Neches Riverfest in Texas. This model is the latest addition to the Apex series, specially designed for powerboat racing. Technical innovation
The 250 APX is the second four-stroke V8 outboard developed by Mercury Racing for powerboat racing. With over 250 horsepower and 8 64-degree V-cylinders, this engine promises superior acceleration and torque. Its dual overhead camshaft architecture with four valves per cylinder is optimized for circuit racing, guaranteeing racing performance and reliability.
