Taylor Swift and Fernando Alonso were rumoured to be dating last year, before the pop superstar began her relationship with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce

Formula 1 fans think Taylor Swift might have called out Fernando Alonso on her new album.
The Spanish F1 star was, last year, the subject of romance rumours involving the pop sensation. Following Swift’s split from Joe Alwyn, there was speculation that she and Alonso were seeing one another.
Alonso fuelled the rumours with a series of cryptic responses to questions about his love life. However, it was assumed that he was simply milking the topic rather than there being anything serious about the claims.
However, some F1 fans have spotted a possible reference to the double F1 champion on her new album, ‘The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology’. Swift is known for writing about past boyfriends and some lyrics on one song, ‘imgonnagetyouback’, have caught attention.
Swift sings: “Small talk, big walk, act like I don’t care what you did. I’m an Aston Martin that you steered straight into the ditch, then ran and hid.”
As Alonso is an Aston Martin driver, some fans are wondering whether the song is about him, and whether the romance rumours might have had some truth to them after all. “Wait….. did they actually date then?” asked one fan on social media.
Another photoshopped Alonso into a picture of Swift holding a cat. And a third spotted the opportunity to crack a joke about the other Aston Martin driver and wrote: “She’s talking about Lance Stroll!”

At the height of the rumours linking him romantically with Swift, Alonso had also recently gone through a break-up, having ended his relationship with former girlfriend Andrea Schlager. But the rumours later ended when it emerged that Swift was actually involved with NFL star Travis Kelce.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end’s relationship with the singer was made official when Swift was spotted in regular attendance at NFL matches to watch her man in action. She was present at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas in February to watch Kelce and his team-mates win the Super Bowl.
Speaking about his girlfriend’s superstar status, Kelce recently said: “The scrutiny she gets, how much she has a magnifying glass on her, every single day, paparazzi outside her house, outside every restaurant she goes to, after every flight she gets off, and she’s just living, enjoying life.”
