Peso Pluma says he wants to be Ferrari’s new Formula 1 driver

Mexican singer Peso Pluma has set his sights on a new horizon, as he wants to become a Formula 1 driver. In a viral video shared across social media platforms, Peso Pluma expressed his desire to join the legendary Italian team Ferrari as a driver.

The video captures the artist’s enthusiasm as he stands beside a Ferrari racing car, declaring his readiness for the challenge and urging Ferrari to give him a chance in Formula 1.

“We are ready for Ferrari,” Pluma said.

“Let them call us from Formula 1.”

Earned Guinness World Record

But Peso Pluma‘s aspirations don’t stop there. He recently achieved a significant milestone in his career, earning a Guinness World Record for the most viewed artist on YouTube in 2023.

With over 8.5 billion views on the platform, Peso Pluma‘s music continues to resonate with audiences worldwide, surpassing other notable artists such as Bad Bunny, Shakira, and J Balvin.

Reflecting on his journey to success, Peso Pluma sees himself as a musical revolutionary, likening his impact to historical figures like Pancho Villa and Porfirio Diaz.

In an interview with El Pais, he emphasized the importance of inspiring others to pursue their dreams, highlighting his role in shaping the aspirations of future generations.

“I have been part of a Mexican music revolution like Pancho Villa or Porfirio Diaz,” he noted.

“Many children see me and many will want to be like me. I see that in part as a responsibility to sow a little seed so that more Mexicans will fight for their dreams and not for their problems.”
