Clear verdict delivered over proposed new F1 points system

The F1 Commission met earlier this week to discuss introducing a new point-scoring format as early as the 2025 season.

The new system would offer points to the top 12, rather than the top 10 which has been the case since the 2010 campaign.

Drivers have mixed opinions on the subject, as do the crew here at RacingNews365.

We also asked you, the fans, to cast your verdict on the new format – and a majority of you are in favour of seeing change.

Below, you can see the full results from our poll with over 70 per cent of respondents voicing support for the new format.
